I haven’t felt this bad in a few weeks. My body is just so pissed off at me because of what I ate for breakfast and I’ve been feeling like shit since then. I’ve been getting Panera Bread bagels for breakfast on the way into work this week for breakfast and completely forgot to today. I’m one of those people where if I haven’t eaten for so many hours I tend to get lethargic. So I went down to the cafeteria to get some breakfast and I got sausage and buiscuts. I love sausage and biscuits. My boyfriend makes them for breakfast every once in a while and they’re delicious.
It didn’t really occur to me that there may be HFCS or something similar to it in that did not agree with me. I have been feeling like shit since then. I’ve been bloated all day. My stomach was pretty upset at one point and I’ve been burping like crazy the last couple of hours because my body is trying to expel all of the gas that has been building up. My joints were also achy and I got super tired. You wouldn’t really think that something as simple as sausage gravy and buiscuts would cause someone so many problems but it felt like I had the flu or something because of it. It’s so emotionally, physically and mentally draining.
It’ll be nice when I can go home next week. It is a lot easier to deal with when I’m home. I’ll miss being able to see my family but at this point I just want to feel better. I’m tired of feeling like shit every single day.
