It turns out that I probably do have a vitamin D deficiency. My doctor wants me to take 2,000 IUs every day for the next six months and then get rechecked. I really need to remember to buy some the next time I’m at the grocery store since my multivitamin only has 1,000 IUs of vitamin D in it. I also need to get better about taking my vitamins. I’ll probably have to set up reminders in my phone or something. New habits are so hard to make and stick with.
