So, my Humira got approved today. And it should be here tomorrow. I have to call Humira tomorrow to set up an appointment to have one of their nurses come out and show me how to do the injections. I should also be getting my travel kit in the mail soon. Which will be very helpful for when I have to go out of town for work.
Luckily it’s only going to cost me $5 thanks to the copayment card that Humira has. I hope that this medication works out for me. I’m ready to start feeling better.
I also called the GI office earlier today to let them know that I was still super tired. They’re putting me on some iron supplements so if any of my readers have any suggestions for iron please let me know!
Hurray! I’m glad they did approve it.
My nurse friend saya iron gluconate is easier on the GI system than iron sulfate, which is what they usually put people on. I’m going to be asking my doc about switching to that next week when I see him because the iron sulfate and I aren’t getting along very well.
I’ll have to look into that. They just want me on 325mg but they didn’t say what to take.
